Rachel Muthoni Reveals What The 3 Men Who Attacked Her Asked Her Before Pouring Petrol On Her

  • Rachel Muthoni is recovering in hospital after suffering serious burn injuries during an alleged attack in Kasarani.
  • She claims three men confronted her over her public support for President William Ruto before setting her on fire.
  • The incident has sparked fresh debate online about political intolerance and online harassment in Kenya.
  • Authorities are yet to issue a full statement on the attack or confirm the identities of the suspects.

A woman who previously went viral online after tattooing the image of President William Ruto on her body is now fighting for recovery in hospital following a shocking attack in Nairobi’s Kasarani area.

Rachel Muthoni, known on social media for her outspoken political support and the “Two Term” tattoo on her chest, narrated how her day suddenly turned tragic after she allegedly encountered three men who appeared to be following her.

According to Rachel’s account, the men surrounded her and forced her to walk between them before questioning her about her perceived links to political money and influence.

She claimed the attackers accused her of “eating the President’s money alone,” suggesting they believed she had financially benefited from publicly supporting President Ruto online and through her tattoos.

Moments later, the situation reportedly escalated into violence after the men allegedly poured petrol on her body and set her ablaze before fleeing the scene.

Rachel sustained serious burn injuries and was rushed to hospital, where she remains under treatment.

The disturbing incident has generated widespread reactions across Kenyan social media platforms, with many users condemning the attack and calling for swift investigations into the matter.

Others expressed concern over rising political hostility in the country, warning that differences in political opinion should never lead to violence or intimidation.

Rachel also dismissed claims that she was financially connected to powerful political figures, saying many people had wrongly assumed her online popularity translated into personal wealth or political sponsorship.

Her tattoos had previously attracted mixed reactions online, with some Kenyans praising her loyalty and confidence while others criticised her decision to permanently display political messages on her body.

However, the latest developments have shifted public conversation away from politics and toward personal safety, cyberbullying, and the dangers of targeting individuals over their beliefs.

The incident now adds to growing national conversations about political tension, online influence, and how social media fame can sometimes expose individuals to unexpected risks.

As investigations continue, many Kenyans are hoping those responsible will be identified and brought to justice, while others are urging political supporters across the divide to reject violence and embrace tolerance even during heated public debates.
