Emurua Dikir MP Johanna Ng'eno sent a chilling premonition just hours before he perished in a devastating helicopter crash that has left Kenya in mourning.

The lawmaker was among six people killed on Saturday, February 28, when the aircraft went down in Mosop, Nandi County. 

Now, a cryptic text message he dispatched barely three hours before the tragedy has emerged as an eerie omen of what was to come.

Ng'eno's Personal Assistant, General Katam, revealed that he received the message at exactly 1:32pm. Written in the MP's native Kalenjin language, it read: "eiye, roisi kokoromit" loosely translating to "things do not look good."

Katam described the final communication as haunting, a seemingly ordinary observation that now carries prophetic weight in retrospect.

The tragedy has sent shockwaves through Kenya's political landscape. Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's ally, Hon Kanini Kega, who also serves as an EALA MP, confirmed that ODM is preparing for the lawmaker's final rites, underscoring the significant loss for Narok politics.
