Dating Again? Kenyans Left Surprised As the Late MP Johana Ngeno's Widow Shares a Video Getting Cosy & Enjoying with Another Man
Fresh online debate has erupted after Naiyanoi Ntutu, the widow of the late Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament Johana Ng'eno, shared social media posts showing her spending time with an unidentified man.
The videos and photos surfaced about five months after the lawmaker lost his life in a tragic helicopter crash, leaving many social media users discussing the nature of the pair's relationship.
The clips, which Naiyanoi uploaded to her Instagram Stories on Friday, 24 July, quickly attracted attention.
One image showed her enjoying what appeared to be a holiday outside the country.
She was dressed in a pink top, blue denim trousers, and a matching hat as she posed for a selfie while seated on a high stool.
The discussion intensified after additional videos showed Naiyanoi inside what looked like a theatre with a man whose identity remained unknown.
His face was concealed beneath a Barcelona FC cap, making it impossible to identify him.
In another clip, the same man rested his arm on Naiyanoi's shoulder as she smiled at the camera, further fuelling speculation among followers.
Naiyanoi did not provide any explanation about the man or the purpose of their outing.
The choice of background music, including a popular Swahili love song, also caught the attention of viewers, with many interpreting it as adding a romantic tone to the posts.
However, there has been no confirmation that the two are in a relationship.
The reactions online were mixed. While some users suggested that the young widow had every right to continue with her life, others questioned whether it was too soon after her husband's death.
The differing opinions quickly spread across social media platforms as the videos continued to circulate.
Naiyanoi has been rebuilding her life since February 2026, when her husband, Johana Ng'eno, died at the age of 53.
The helicopter carrying the MP and five other people crashed in Chepkiep, Mosop, Nandi County after reportedly encountering poor weather and striking trees before bursting into flames.
The accident claimed the lives of everyone on board and shocked leaders and residents across the country.
