Renowned journalist and entrepreneur Betty Kyallo has shared intimate details about her relationship with her Gen Z partner, Charlie Jones, expressing how loved and cared for she feels.
In a post shared on her official Instagram account on Friday, February 27, 2026, the heavily pregnant media personality praised Charlie for his thoughtfulness as they prepare to welcome their first child together.
“I love that he’s been making plans for us. Aaaaaw babe plus the love and attention he be giving me has been nothing short of incredible,” Betty wrote.
The couple has been together for two years. In June 2024, Betty introduced Charlie to the public after keeping their relationship private for months.
She shared photos of them enjoying a romantic day at Ngong Hills as he celebrated his birthday.
“Happy birthday, baby. More laughs, more happiness, more hugs, more babies, more us. This is it. God sent me the right one. All of you guys can be angry,” she wrote at the time.
Their relationship has attracted attention because of their age difference. Some early reports claimed Charlie was 21, but he later clarified that he is 26.
Betty, who is 35, also addressed the claims.
“Ata akiwa 21 si underage lakini si 21, no. Let’s not go deeper,” she said.
When asked if she plans to settle down, Betty made it clear she is not in a rush.
“Si tuko sawa for now. Hio story ya harusi inapatianga watu pressure, wee wacha tu nipendwe pole pole. Acha tu nikue taken care of by somebody’s son,” she explained.
Betty also admitted that love has changed her in small but meaningful ways. She revealed that she now enjoys cooking for Charlie, something she did not like before.
“Actually let me tell you I never used to like to cook lakini najipatanga tu hapo kitchen maze nko hapo tu Instagram naangalia malessons hahahahaha,” she said, laughing.
