Johana Ngeno's Mum Reveals Son Asked Her to Pray for Him Before Boarding the Chopper

Mary Ng'eno stood strong as she shared her memories of her son, Johana Ng'eno, during his funeral held on March 6, 2026.



The ceremony took place at their family home in Narok County, where friends and family gathered to say their final goodbyes.

In her heartfelt speech, Mary recalled their last conversation before the helicopter crash that tragically claimed her son's life.


She shared how Johana had asked her to pray for him just before boarding the chopper.


Her words resonated with everyone present, as she expressed, “How are all of you? Are you okay? I am so happy because we are together in sorrow and in truth. A really good child has gone.”


She emphasized the closeness of their bond and the love she had for him.


Mary explained that her son always sought her prayers and wished for safety during his travels.



“When he was leaving, he came to me and told me to pray for him,” she said. “I always pray for him and the government.”



With tears in her eyes, Mary talked about the moment she found out about the crash. “When I was still praying, the helicopter crashed,” she recalled, questioning if her prayers were heard.


However, she found comfort in her faith, believing that God had indeed listened.


Family members and friends shared in the mourning of Johana's loss, remembering him not just as a politician, but as a caring husband and dedicated father.
