KMTC Reopens Applications for 2025 KCSE Candidates
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is now accepting applications from students who sat for the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), as well as other eligible applicants, for the March 2026 intake.
This follows the reopening of the KUCCPS (Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service) portal, giving students another opportunity to apply for health training programmes at the college.
KMTC remains Kenya’s leading institution for training middle-level health professionals, attracting applicants from across the country and beyond. Through its wide network of campuses, the college offers practical, accessible, and market-driven training aimed at preparing graduates to serve communities both locally and internationally.
Prospective students can choose from a variety of programmes that equip them with technical skills, ethical grounding, and hands-on experience, strengthening healthcare delivery across the nation.
Speaking on the KUCCPS portal reopening, KMTC CEO Dr. Kelly Oluoch encouraged eligible candidates to take advantage of the opportunity.
“Healthcare is not just a career; it is a calling that saves lives and transforms nations,” said Dr. Oluoch. “At KMTC, we are committed to training competent, compassionate, and globally competitive health professionals who will continue to strengthen healthcare systems in Kenya and beyond.”
The college continues to expand its training capacity with new programmes, improved infrastructure, and strategic partnerships to meet the growing demand for skilled health workers. These efforts support national health priorities and contribute to Universal Health Coverage (UHC).

1. Visit the KUCCPS student portal.
2. Carefully review the KMTC programmes and campus options.
