Kenyan preacher has publicly appealed to be reunited with his children, Sky and Danny, saying he has been denied access to them and does not know their current whereabouts.
Speaking in an emotional Father's Day message, Kanyari described the ongoing separation from his children as one of the most painful experiences of his life.
He claimed that while many fathers were celebrating the special day with their families, he was spending it in distress and uncertainty.
The preacher alleged that his children's stepfather, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, has played a role in keeping them away from him.
"I have not been able to see my children, and I do not know where they are," Kanyari said. "As a father, this is heartbreaking."
Kanyari called on those involved to prioritise the welfare of the children and allow them to reconnect with their biological father. He insisted that his efforts are motivated by love and concern for their well-being.
In a firm appeal, the televangelist issued a deadline, saying he expects the matter to be resolved by Wednesday.
"I am giving those responsible until Wednesday to address this issue peacefully and in the best interests of the children," he said. "Every child deserves the opportunity to know both parents, and every father deserves the chance to love, guide and support his children."
His remarks come amid renewed public attention surrounding the children's welfare following the death of gospel singer .
The issue gained traction after family friend Shiru Stewart made allegations against Tash, claims that were later dismissed by Sky during a TikTok live session, where she defended her stepfather.
At the time of publication, Tash had not publicly responded to Kanyari's claims.
