Sky Victor Leaves Kenyans Surprised as She Fiercely Tells Off People Asking Why She is Not Attending School
A section of Kenyans has expressed concern after Sky Victor, the daughter of controversial preacher Pastor Victor Kanyari, responded to social media users who have been questioning why she is not attending school.
Kanyari revealed during a live session on Sunday that his daughter was currently not going to school. The revelation quickly sparked questions from followers, many of whom wanted to know why a child of school-going age was spending much of her time on social media and online content creation.
However, Sky appeared unimpressed by the questions. In videos shared online, she reportedly told critics to stop asking about school, saying she was now a "big woman" and did not wish to be questioned about such matters.
Her remarks triggered mixed reactions online, with some people defending her while others expressed concern about the direction her life appears to be taking at a young age.
Many Kenyans argued that both Sky and her younger brother are still children and should not be heavily exposed to social media drama and public family disputes. Others questioned whether the constant online attention could affect their education and personal development.
The concerns come amid ongoing public interest in the family following the death of gospel singer Betty Bayo. Since then, questions have frequently emerged regarding the children's living arrangements, with some Kenyans wondering why they are not permanently living with their biological father, Pastor Kanyari.
The preacher has previously stated that the children had been living with their stepfather, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, who played a major role in raising them.
Kanyari has also indicated that he wishes to take a more active role in their lives and has publicly spoken about plans involving their future living arrangements.
