Mumias East MP Peter Salasya has once again stirred social media after making a playful yet cheeky comment about comedian Mulamwah’s ex-girlfriend.
In a post that quickly went viral, Salasya praised the lady’s beauty and joked about cultural inheritance among the Luhya community.
“Hii kitu safi mbona ndugu yangu aliachilia?” Salasya asked, wondering why Mulamwah would let go of such a beautiful woman.
He further added that in Luhya culture, inheritance — or okhukalusia — is allowed. “If you say ‘Ndugu Salasya, you are my brother,’ and you're still single, I’ll take over. She’s so beautiful,” the MP quipped.
Salasya then jokingly pleaded with Mulamwah, saying they should bring the lady back — or better yet, he should be given a chance if Mulamwah isn’t interested. “Mulamwah, let’s return her, or give her to me — I won’t refuse,” he added, finishing with laughter and emojis, “Shemeji ni mboga!”
