Over 50 Staff Members Linked to the Late Raila Odinga Fired & Dismissed From ODM Party, Reason Revealed
Over 90 staff members linked to the late former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have been dismissed from the party.
According to reports, the staff who operated from different parts of the country were fired as ODM Party leader Dr. Oburu Odinga opens a new office after taking over the party.
Dr. Oburu, who was speaking about the current political situation, said that the party is going to remain in the broad-based government.
He affirmed that the members and supporters of the party do not want to go back to the opposition, where some died during protests.
"The supporters of the Orange Democratic Movement party have told us that they don't want to go back to the opposition. I don't understand why some people are joining former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua. He is not going to take you anywhere. We can't leave the government and go back to the opposition without a good plan," Dr. Oburu said.
Meanwhile, Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuna has said that he is not going to leave the party.
Sifuna, who was speaking about ODM Party, said that ODM belongs to all Kenyans, adding that he is not going to give in and allow rogue individuals to take over the party.
