Dr Victoria's Husband Grilled By DCI Amid Reports That Her Family Was Entangled in Property Wrangles
After the news about the death of Dr Victoria Nthunya was broadcasted across various news platforms, police officers swung into action seeking to unearth what actually transpired before the clinical psychologist and renowned scholar was eliminated by unknown gunmen.
In bid to expedite probe into the shocking ordeal, it has now been established that after the murder incident, officers under the Directorare of Criminal Investigation (DCI) unit visited Dr Victoria's home in Riara, where they grilled her husband Professor David Musyimi Ndetei, seeking to establish whether the elimination of his wife was premeditated.
During the investigation, preliminary findings had indicated that before Dr Victoria was killed, her family was entangled in squabbles over property ownership and distribution, which is believed to have probably triggered the entire plot for the murder.
Prior to the attack, Dr Victoria Nthunya had already launched a complain that her life was in danger and the case was allegedly being investigated by the police officers.
In the first attack, she had also been trailed by armed men who were on a motorbike, before they pointed a gun at her while she was in traffic. Luckily she went unhurt.
However on the morning of Wednesday 29th July 2026 at around 9a.m, she was in a similar fashion trailed by three men who were on a motorcycle, before one of the men shot her at close range after the Uber vehicle she was in was blocked at the junction of Mbagathi Link Road and Mawenzi Road.
